Appointment/Receiving the Robe of Faghr
On September 4, 1970, his father confirmed Nader Angha’s spiritual leadership by conferring upon him the Robe of Faghr. At the age of 25, in a formal ceremony, the cloak of Guardianship was transmitted by Hazrat Shah Maghsoud Sadegh Angha to his beloved son, Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Angha. This honor was a public declaration that Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Angha was to be the Master of Maktab Tarighat Oveyssi Shahmaghsoudi, and the guiding light for those on the divine path. His father stated:
“Thousands of years are needed to witness such a genius again.”
Today the robes or cloaks of the Masters are displayed at M.T.O. ® khaneghahs in the United States.
From the date of his appointment by the hand of his beloved father, Hazrat Pir assumed his responsibilities in carrying on the duties entrusted to him, which included the design and supervision of the construction of the magnificent Sufi Center in Sufi-Abad of Karaj (close to Tehran). Dr. Ronald Grisell, who travelled to Iran, sought and was granted permission to visit the Maktab Tarighat Oveyssi Shahmaghsoudi Oveyssi School at Sufi-Abad of Karaj. He has provided a detailed description of the magnificent center, and a chapter entitled “The Oveyssi School of Sufism at Karaj” in his book, Sufism (85-97)
